Bryan Geoffrey Randall / MILR, MACP, RP (Qualifying)
Hi! Bryan here.
I’m a Toronto based Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) offering virtual and in-person therapy sessions. With empathy, humility, humour, and respect I aim to create a safe, inclusive and affirming space for you to dive into this important work.
Within our work together, I aim to support you as you navigate past trauma, emotional blockages, and limiting beliefs to engage in personal wellbeing.
My goal is to help you cultivate a deeper sense of self-awareness, heal emotional wounds and develop practical tools to cultivate long-lasting growth.
My Approach
Using a range of therapeutic approaches, including, narrative, EMDR, somatic, humanistic, existential, psychedelic-assisted therapy integration and strength-based methods, I aim to tailor our work to meet your unique needs. I embrace trauma-informed, decolonizing, anti-oppressive and intersectional therapeutic principles.
Through a queer and critical lens my practice supports all folk by providing an affirming and inclusive space. My values encompass harm reduction and positivity in all forms – be it sex, polyamory, or kink. In my practice, I prioritize humour, compassion, curiosity and cultural humility, acknowledging the nuanced and diverse backgrounds, intersections and experiences of individuals.
Curiosity,
without judgement.
I’ll likely be asking a lot of questions.
Each question opens up new ways of understanding, interpreting, and engaging with your life. Each question invites you to reflect, reconsider, and re-author your life story. I’ll also ask you to get curious about your own narrative.
It isn’t just about gathering information; it’s a creative act that can lead to new perspectives and possibilities for how you live your life.
Together we’ll get curious to uncover values and goals, regain agency, reshape your narrative and foster empowering perspectives to support growth and change.
“Every time we ask a question, we’re generating a possible version of a life.”
— David Epston

About me
I am a gay father who came out later in life, deepening my understanding of the complexities and challenges of that transition. This journey taught me the importance of honesty in knowing oneself and living authentically in alignment with personal values and truth. With a background in labour relations and experience in both union and management roles, I understand the struggles of burnout, organizational tension, and workplace difficulties. Additionally, my time as a creative director in global settings has strengthened my ability to navigate diverse environments, complex problems and foster meaningful connections through creativity.
My career transition to psychotherapy deeply aligns with my values of giving back and supporting others. Through my experiences, I’ve learned the importance of helping individuals navigate their journey toward growth, authenticity, and healing. My goal is to provide a space where people can embrace their true selves and live in alignment with their values, fostering new perspectives and self-discovery.
I look forward to hopefully meeting you.
